The local sailing school “Wind Fornells” is located just in front of the house, and offers dinghy sailing and windsurfing rental, classes and courses. Nearby there is a dive centre, water skiing and a bike hire shop. There is also a place to rent kayaks. Further down the bay there is an English sailing school called Minorca Sailing, which offers weekly courses for all ages and abilities, but needs to be booked in the UK in advance. In Fornells itself there are small motor boats to rent. If you wanted to rent a bigger sailing boat or speed boat, charters from Mahon can be arranged.

There are some stunning walks along this path and horse riding can also be arranged. Horses are very much part of the culture of the island, and the best place to see them is at the local fiestas which run in every town at the weekends from June to the end of August. There are also dressage displays every week performed by local riders on the famous Menorcan black stallions.
For rest and relaxation there are many beautiful golden sandy beaches. The nearest to Ses Vinyes are Cala Tirant, Binimela, Cap de Cavelleria and Pregonda. For the South coast head for Santo Tomas, Son Bou, or Cala Mitjana.
